A Class for Being, Not Doing
Tree Babies is a mindful, nature-based parent and baby class designed to help you slow down, reconnect and simply be.
Set in peaceful, natural surroundings, these sessions are about letting go of expectations, and instead leaning into calm, connection and presence, with yourself, your baby, and the world around you.
In today’s fast-paced culture, it can feel like we’re always rushing. But babies don’t rush. Trees don’t rush. And when we choose to pause with them, something shifts.
Tree Babies offers that sacred pause, a space to breathe, reflect, and bond gently with your little one in the stillness of the natural world.
Who is Tree Babies For?
Tree Babies is open to all primary carers and their babies, from when you feel ready to leave the house up to crawling age.
Whether you’re looking to ease anxiety, deepen your connection, or simply enjoy time in nature with your baby, you’re warmly welcome here, no experience needed.
If carrying your baby in a sling isn’t possible for any reason, we’ll work with you to find a supportive alternative.

Each session flows intuitively, guided by the rhythms of nature and the needs of the group. Together, we’ll gather under the trees and explore grounding, heart-led practices that support both emotional wellbeing and parent-baby connection.
Your Tree Babies session may include:
-Mindful walks
-Earth mandalas
-Gentle breathwork & grounding
-Tea ceremony under the trees
-Journaling & quiet reflection
-Self-compassion and loving-kindness practice
-Singing and humming with nature
-Feet-to-feet connection
-Forest bathing
-Tree hugging (really!)
-Stretch-to-de-stress
-Collecting natural toys
No pressure. No need to perform. Just time to soften into presence, and feel safe, calm, and connected.

Rooted in Mindful Parenting
These gatherings gently support mindful parenting and early emotional development. By simply being with your baby in nature, free from distractions, you’re creating space for bonding, nervous system regulation, and emotional security.
And you, too, are supported. As you slow down and connect with the earth beneath your feet, you’re giving yourself space to listen to your own heart and rhythm.
Practical Details
If the Weather Turns…
Tree Babies will go ahead in the rain (it’s all part of the grounding!). Some shelter will be provided for bags and supplies.
If wind gusts reach 30mph or a storm warning is issued, the session will be postponed and rescheduled for the end of the block. Your safety and comfort are always the priority.
What to Bring
-A sling if you’re using one (or let us know if you need another option)
-Comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for woodland walks and weather
-A warm layer and something waterproof, just in case
